About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build Waymark’s product marketing function from the ground up
  • Develop and own product positioning and messaging architecture across the AI product portfolio
  • Translate data science capabilities and clinical outcomes into business-outcome language for health plan and health system buyers
  • Build and maintain the technology differentiation narrative against competitors
  • Lead go-to-market planning for product launches with clear positioning and success metrics
  • Partner with research and clinical teams on scientific communications, manuscripts, publications, and market-facing narratives
  • Build and maintain sales enablement materials including pitch decks, case studies, whitepapers, and battle cards
  • Partner with Business Development and Partner Success on enterprise opportunities
  • Use market feedback to continuously improve the sales approach
  • Establish technology differentiation, sales enablement, AI product launches, scientific communications, and market intelligence systems during the first 12 months
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing, Business Development, Product, Research/Clinical, and Partner Success teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, including experience as the first or only product marketer building the function from scratch
  • Track record bringing new products to market, particularly technical or data science products
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Ability to distill complex technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
  • Ability to build processes and infrastructure independently
  • Background in healthcare, health plans, health systems, or value-based care organizations preferred
  • Experience in early-stage or high-growth B2B SaaS companies preferred
  • Background translating clinical evidence, research, or technical capabilities into market positioning and sales narratives preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check required, including employment history and advanced degree verification when applicable
