About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Regulatory Reporting workstreams across major regulatory change programmes, including internal data management projects, AIFMD II, UCITS VI, UK FRAME, and Form PF
  • Analyze and interpret new regulatory requirements and assess impacts on reporting processes, data models, and operating frameworks
  • Define business requirements and implementation plans to support regulatory compliance
  • Own regulatory reporting data requirements and enhance regulatory data governance frameworks
  • Lead regulatory reporting input for automation initiatives and schema development
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processing through improved data sourcing, transformation, and controls
  • Support the design and implementation of automated filing solutions
  • Represent Regulatory Reporting to development and technology teams
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into detailed business specifications
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of regulatory reporting system enhancements
  • Provide guidance on reporting schemas, data models, and regulatory reporting architecture
  • Manage implementation activities across a population of over 1,200 funds for AIFMD II
  • Manage regulatory reporting impacts across 200+ funds for Form PF
  • Evaluate opportunities to automate and enhance additional filing processes such as CPO/PQR
  • Support expansion and centralization of reporting services
  • Drive development of automated filing capabilities for existing and future reporting obligations
  • Build relationships across Regulatory Reporting, Technology, Product, Risk, and Operations teams
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams and ensure regulatory milestones are achieved
  • Provide senior management with updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a 3rd level Degree in Finance, Business or similar field is required
  • 6–8 years in a risk or regulatory related role, preferably within the funds industry
  • Strong experience in regulatory reporting within asset management, fund administration, or financial services
  • Detailed knowledge of one or more of: AIFMD Annex IV, UCITS Reporting, Form PF, UK regulatory reporting frameworks
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements into business and technical specifications
  • Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and reporting processes
  • Experience working with technology and development teams on regulatory reporting solutions
  • Proven project delivery and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous management or supervisor experience is essential
  • Experience with regulatory reporting automation projects is desirable
  • Knowledge of reporting schema design and regulatory data models is desirable
  • Experience with data analytics or reporting platforms is desirable
  • Experience managing large-scale regulatory change programmes is desirable
  • Knowledge or previous exposure to AIFMD, UCITS, CPO-PQR, Form PF, Solvency II, and PRIIPs is preferable but not required
  • Exposure to or knowledge of Value at Risk, Stress Testing, Liquidity Analysis, Leverage, and Back Testing
  • Strong knowledge of a range of instruments including derivatives
  • Detailed use of Excel and comfort working with numbers and spreadsheets preferred
  • A master’s degree in a Finance or Mathematical field or related professional qualification is desirable, not required
