About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive and process investor transaction documents, including subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers
- Maintain capital activity tracking reports and distribute them to clients periodically
- Ensure accurate and timely system output and delivery of client and investor reporting
- Complete and maintain AML requirements for investor transactions
- Provide money movement notifications and prepare wire instructions for fund investor activity
- Work on capital calls and distribution calls for private equity investors
- Serve as the client operational contact for investor servicing
- Resolve queries, problems, and errors in a timely manner
- Develop knowledge of performance calculations, including equalization and series of shares
- Maintain working relationships with external clients, internal relationship managers, and other business units
- Work on projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
- Contact investors regarding outstanding AML and tax requirements
- Support risk identification and collaborate with stakeholders on controls to mitigate risks
- Provide coaching and training to team members
- Support the Team Leader with SLAs, deadlines, training, huddles, and quality issues
- Suggest and identify process improvements affecting efficiency, quality standards, and customer experience
- Conduct floor sessions on quality improvement, risk management, and process updates or changes
- Assist with query handling and quality error analysis
- Identify root causes and help implement solutions to close gaps
- Provide periodic team performance reports to the Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–8 years of experience in Investor Services
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline from a reputed college/university
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with Hedge Fund and Private Equity software tools
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Willingness to work in any department within the Investor Services and AML team
- Understanding of the laws of the supported region
- Ability to adhere to established departmental procedures and controls
- Ability to identify risks and support development of mitigating controls
- Team player qualities within Investor Services
