About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Technology division team at WBS TRAINING SE as a subject-matter instructor
- Prepare and develop practical learning materials based on the curriculum
- Teach fundamental electrical engineering principles and application-oriented content
- Conduct competency assessments and learning objective reviews
- Provide individualized guidance and support to participants throughout the learning process
- Deliver practical, hands-on instruction in person in Dresden
- Deliver theoretical instruction online from a home office
- Prepare skilled professionals for professional recognition in Germany
- Teach the professional competencies required for work in the German electrical trades and with employers’ liability insurance associations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent command of German, the language of instruction (C2 level)
- Sound knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical installation
- Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering topics and practical expertise
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety
- Experience with Siemens LOGO! programming
- Expertise in testing protective measures in accordance with DIN VDE standards
- Basic proficiency with E-CAE software, ideally EPLAN P8
- Initial knowledge of PLC programming, particularly Siemens PLCs
- Initial pedagogical knowledge or experience in teaching and knowledge transfer
- Strong methodological and didactic skills, with enthusiasm for teaching
- Structured and independent approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
