About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver subject-specific German language instruction in person at B1 level
- Design and deliver the practice-oriented “Communication in the Workplace” module
- Use varied, target-group-oriented teaching methods
- Plan and conduct competency assessments
- Document learners’ progress
- Promote participants’ language skills and professional competence
- Conduct German courses Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., in Solingen
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree or vocational training in linguistics, German studies, German as a foreign or second language, or a comparable qualification
- Very good German language skills at C2 level
- Solid teaching experience in German as a Foreign Language (DaF)
- Experience preparing learners for TELC B1 examinations
- Strong methodological and didactic skills
- Independent, structured approach to work and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and team spirit
- Commitment to the sustainable integration of people into education, vocational training, and employment
