About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver subject-specific instruction at the Dresden-North location and from home using the WBS LearnSpace 3D platform
Conduct 20% of instruction at the Dresden-North location and 80% remotely from home
Prepare and develop instructional materials in accordance with the curriculum
Conduct competency assessments
Support course participants in expanding their professional skills and integrating into the labor market
Promote course participants’ skills development as a subject-matter contributor and learning facilitator

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training, technician qualification, or engineering degree in automation technology
Knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning automation systems
Knowledge of programming Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal
Experience with technology and communication objects, visualization, and machine safety
Knowledge of network technology
Experience applying TIA knowledge with PROFIBUS, PROFINET, AS-i, and OPC UA
Knowledge of control engineering and measurement technology
Excellent command of German, the language of instruction, at C2 level
Strong methodological and didactic skills for delivering educational content
Independent and structured approach to work, with a high degree of personal responsibility
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
AEVO certification or comparable pedagogical training is desirable
Basic knowledge of SIMIT software is an advantage
