About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage the Finance enhancements backlog, including triage, impact assessment, prioritisation, solution development, testing, and closure
- Diagnose and resolve Finance configuration issues in the live global D365 environment across GL, AP/AR, financial dimensions, posting profiles, period close, tax, and integrations
- Partner with the Finance Business Process Lead to translate business requirements into scalable D365 Finance configurations
- Assess new D365 Finance functionality from Microsoft updates, test it in non-production, and recommend valuable adoption
- Configure and validate Finance modules and related integrations across global markets
- Maintain and improve Finance configurations, localization, tax treatment, and regulatory compliance across markets
- Collaborate with the enterprise architect and technical teams on integration design and standards
- Contribute to agile planning cycles and keep the workstream documented and on track
- Support future implementation phases as new markets come online
Requirements
What you’ll need- UK work authorisation required
- Deep, hands-on D365 F&O Finance configuration experience in a live global environment — 5+ years
- Proven capability across GL, financial dimensions, posting profiles, AP/AR, period close, and financial reporting
- Multi-country D365 Finance experience across differing tax schemes and regulatory requirements
- Experience working alongside Business Process Leads or functional counterparts
- Familiarity with OTC processes and their connection to Finance in D365 is a plus
- Strong documentation and communication habits
- Experience with Microsoft’s release cadence and D365 update management
