Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's Degree in Genetics or Genetic Counseling – Required
  • Board Certification through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) – Required
  • Strong communication and patient counseling skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality care effectively in a remote environment
  • Experience with hereditary cancer counseling is highly desirable
  • Multi-state genetic counseling licensure is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
