About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and evolve scalable Flutter/Dart applications with native iOS and Android integrations
Build and maintain GitHub Actions and Fastlane workflows for testing, signing, and App Store and Google Play deployments
Define and improve unit, widget, integration, native UI, and end-to-end testing strategies
Own dependency updates, SDK upgrades, release health, crash monitoring, alerting, and incident follow-up
Diagnose memory issues, UI jank, network latency, crashes, and background execution problems
Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams to deliver reliable customer experiences
Lead annual iOS and Android SDK target version upgrades, manage OS deprecations, and maintain store policy compliance
Own the mobile lifecycle from architecture through production
Improve release safety, reliability, performance, and developer experience
Use AI thoughtfully with strong engineering judgment and review standards
Mentor engineers and raise the mobile team's quality
Report to the Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience
Deep Flutter and Dart experience in production applications
Strong native iOS experience with Swift and iOS SDKs
Working knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, and Android release processes
Experience designing GitHub Actions and Fastlane pipelines
Experience with mobile code signing, provisioning profiles, and store deployments
Strong knowledge of unit, widget, bloc, integration, and end-to-end testing
Solid understanding of WebSocket implementation for real-time communication, connection management, and error handling
Strong knowledge of push notification services, including FCM and APNS
Experience with Sentry, Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar tools
Familiarity with dependency management, SDK upgrades, security updates, and compliance requirements
Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, persistence, networking, and offline synchronization
Strong knowledge of production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and crash reports
Excellent communication, documentation, mentoring, and remote collaboration skills
