About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all programs under the Assistant Program Director’s direction
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Home Supervisors on program development
- Participate at the administrative level in agency policy-making, planning, and decision-making
- Provide administrative oversight of Home Supervisors and direct care staff
- Oversee treatment programs, advocacy, family treatment support, client rights, support services, milieu support, and compliance with treatment and contract requirements
- Provide leadership at team meetings and oversee daily routines, program implementation, and therapeutic milieu
- Communicate agency planning, policies, and procedures between administration and program staff
- Monitor hour banks, budget planning, supervisor expense line items, and other program expenses
- Complete staff evaluations and use staff discipline procedures as necessary
- Support staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate with Associate Directors and administrative personnel
- Participate in agency budgeting, planning, and policy development
- Chair Residential Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, and overnight meetings with the partner Program Manager
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to identify high-risk areas in residential programs
- Consult with Human Resources on hiring, performance, and employee relations matters
- Attend Residential Leaders meetings
- Coach and support professional development for each Home Supervisor
- Participate in supervision meetings for idea sharing, feedback, and department planning
- Work collaboratively with the licensed program Director
- Provide leadership and direction to program management to ensure best practices
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, governmental contracts, state licensing, and Child Protective Services requirements
- Contact appropriate agencies and complete Corrective Action Plans as required
- Track and monitor utilization and outcome data, including quarterly agency report-card reporting
- Ensure timely Quality Assurance compliance related to employee roles and functions
- Provide rotating weekend on-call Administration coverage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science — or — a high school diploma with 5 years’ progressive employment with a social services or childcare agency or organization
- Two years of direct Supervisory oversight of a Residential treatment program highly preferred
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services
- Agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency
- Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance
- Consistent work schedule and availability during assigned hours
- Availability for variable Monday–Friday hours and weekend on-call coverage
