About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Aid in delivering case management and clinical treatment services
Assist in coordinating program operations
Ensure youth receive mental health, medical, recreation, education, and other support services
Maintain accurate and current foster-child information and meet ORR reporting requirements
Coordinate searches and connections with family or significant adult sponsors
Assist the Clinician/Consultant with case management services, scheduling, contacts, case reviews, case-related information, service plans, follow-up calls, and client files
Link clients with Goal Workers and other program staff, including Nurses, Wellness Specialists, and the School Coordinator
Lead or co-lead milieu groups as requested
Monitor assigned clients’ progress, including community living skills
Participate in supervision and team meetings
Ensure quality assurance compliance, peer supervision, utilization reviews, service-delivery criteria, and reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred
Bachelor’s degree is required
LBSW or ability to be licensed is preferred
Prior experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations preferred
Minimum of one year experience as a Case Manager or a Youth Treatment Specialist
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Varicella vaccination/immunity documentation as specified
Two MMR doses or immunity titers
Complete primary DTaP vaccination series and adult dose if applicable
Annual influenza vaccination during flu season
Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency
Monday–Friday availability with some on-call hours
