About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and provide construction support for all new locations across the WellBiz Brands portfolio.
  • Oversee remodel and refresh projects.
  • Manage vendors throughout projects and oversee architectural and permitting processes.
  • Review construction drawings, renderings, general contractor schedules and quotes, vendor quotes, and site photos.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Real Estate, Design, Operations, NSO, and Creative/Marketing to ensure locations meet brand standards.
  • Guide franchise owners through construction processes, schedules, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with franchisees and internal teams to provide direction and status updates on active projects.
  • Attend and coordinate weekly status calls with franchise owners, architects, vendors, and the NSO team.
  • Manage site surveys, construction documents, permits, signage, and project vendors from start to completion.
  • Review and redline architectural and MEP construction documents.
  • Review and approve exterior signage and interior graphics.
  • Track project milestones and construction-related dates in project reporting pipelines.
  • Organize and maintain construction, architecture, and permitting project files.
  • Support value engineering for each brand’s buildout.
  • Coordinate remodels, refreshes, and project rollouts for new product and service innovations.
  • Manage assigned direct reports, including Construction Managers, Project Managers, and/or Design Planners.
  • Provide feedback, conduct annual reviews, and perform other managerial responsibilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in franchise systems and managing projects owned by franchisees.
  • Proven success in a construction management or project management role.
  • Solid understanding of the construction and site development process with experience managing a team.
  • Solid understanding of core architectural design concepts, practices, and codes.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem resolution to all areas of project development.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while collaborating in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally and build solid internal and external relationships.
  • Experience in FranConnect, Smartsheets, Construction Management, and Architectural software is highly preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize tasks and schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
