About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review margin calls from brokers, investigate discrepancies, and issue wires to meet margin and collateral needs
Monitor and manage collateral requirements, including balance supervision and collateral selection
Perform daily control reconciliations for holdings, futures trades, collateral, and currency balances across internal accounting systems, clearing brokers, custodians, and clearing houses
Support day-to-day broker relationships through issue resolution, inquiries, escalation, and operational review meetings
Serve as a resource for queries and issues raised by clients, custodians, accounting agents, brokers, portfolio managers, trading, and other internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve front-to-back efficiency and strengthen control processes
Assist in implementing process and workflow changes
Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and high-quality outputs as a steward of risk and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
2+ years of experience in investment operations; exchange-traded and cleared derivatives experience preferred
Knowledge of collateral, margin, or other post-trade operational processes is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and escalate issues appropriately
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate initiative in identifying process improvement opportunities
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools is a plus
