About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead two urgent care sites and manage overall facility operations
  • Ensure alignment with WellNow’s mission, vision, culture, and strategy
  • Oversee patient satisfaction, revenue, profitability, site organization, inventory, employee engagement, and team development
  • Onboard, train, and cross-train site team members
  • Oversee site employees and daily activities to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Coach employees and conduct team briefs and monthly meetings
  • Ensure adequate staffing and create schedules for clinical positions
  • Monitor patient flow, wait times, surge protocols, and care efficiency
  • Collaborate with and support providers in delivering patient care
  • Ensure compliance with scripts, protocols, OSHA requirements, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance
  • Complete and oversee daily multi-site manager checklists
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to assess, select, and hire clinic team members
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching, accountability, performance plans, and goals
  • Resolve patient grievances and visitor issues and improve patient satisfaction
  • Oversee occupational medicine at the sites
  • Manage site metrics, accounts receivable, bad debt, expenditures, budgets, supplies, vendor payments, and labor costs
  • Submit and review orders, schedules, testing visits, and operational reports
  • Lead execution of urgent care goals and objectives with the Provider Lead
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance, absence management, and approvals
  • Present in clinics at least 5 days per week, including days, nights, and weekends as needed
  • Manage provider operational performance and timely chart completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare environment; clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations as required
  • Participation in weekend rotation within the region
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Approximately 50% travel required
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employers, patients, providers, managers, and colleagues
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in clinics open 7 days a week from 7am–11pm
