About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operations across two WellNow Urgent Care sites
  • Ensure the WellNow mission, vision, culture, and strategy are carried out
  • Manage daily operations, patient satisfaction, revenue, profitability, organization, inventory, employee engagement, and team development
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and cross-training of site team members
  • Directly oversee site team members and activities
  • Communicate job expectations and conduct coaching and team meetings
  • Ensure adequate staffing and coverage at all times
  • Monitor patient flow and wait times and implement surge protocols as needed
  • Collaborate with and support Providers in delivering patient care
  • Recognize and reward team members for meeting goals
  • Ensure patient rooming, discharge, callbacks, OSHA compliance, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance protocols are followed
  • Complete and oversee daily Multi-Site Manager checklists
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to assess, select, and hire clinic team members
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching, performance plans, and accountability
  • Resolve patient grievances and visitor issues
  • Improve operations, staff retention, employee engagement, and patient satisfaction
  • Provide direct oversight of occupational medicine
  • Manage site metrics, accounts receivable, bad debt, expenses, budgets, supplies, vendor payments, and reporting
  • Create clinical staffing schedules and adjust staffing to patient volume
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance, absence management, and approvals
  • Track labor and supply costs against budget
  • Present in clinics at least 5 days per week across days, nights, and weekends
  • Manage provider operational performance and chart completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare environment and clinical experience preferred
  • May be required to work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations
  • Weekend rotation within the region as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Approximately 50% travel required
  • Effective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers, managers, and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in clinics open 7 days a week from 7am–11pm
  • Must comply with applicable OSHA requirements
