About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality software solutions in the PACF business unit
  • Lead a team of engineers and technical experts
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute key engineering projects
  • Ensure timely delivery of software solutions meeting business needs and technical requirements
  • Provide technical leadership for software architecture, design, and implementation
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, including code quality, automation testing, and documentation
  • Assess and improve engineering processes, development workflows, and deployment pipelines
  • Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and engineering leaders to define requirements and address blockers or technical challenges
  • Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify skill development and career growth opportunities
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms in daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes
  • Work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Safeguard company and client information in accordance with security policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 4–6 years related work experience
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience of engineering teams
  • Strong comprehension of IBM i, RPGLE, DB2 SQL and full-stack application development
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI tooling
  • Knowledge of Application Security principles and frameworks (Oauth2 etc.)
  • Experience working with Agile teams rolling out software versioning and hot fixes in support of client requirements
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Pipelines, CI/CD and Automation using industry standard tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in Cloud native technologies
  • Applicants for U.S.-based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred: Prior experience in healthcare
  • Preferred: Prior integration with standards like HL7 and FHIR
  • Preferred: GCP cloud native development
