About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio spanning metropolitan, regional and rural communities across NSW
- Translate organisational priorities into strong service, people and community outcomes
- Build trusted relationships across the geographic area and represent Wellways with key stakeholders, community partners and local networks
- Lead services spanning Byron Bay, Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey and Port Macquarie
- Foster connection, collaboration and shared purpose across a geographically dispersed portfolio
- Bring Wellways’ strategy to life in local communities
- Shape service excellence and participant outcomes
- Strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for service development and growth
- Oversee financial performance, governance, risk and resources
- Create conditions for sustainable, high-quality services and a culture of accountability, wellbeing, innovation and continuous improvement
- Report to the General Manager
- Travel regularly and maintain a strong presence across the region
- Lead strategic and operational performance, inspire leaders and build strong partnerships to create meaningful impact across communities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced, values-led leader with a proven track record of leading complex services
- Experience developing leaders and building trusted partnerships
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed portfolios across regional and rural communities
- Strong strategic planning, business development and service improvement capability
- Experience identifying opportunities, building partnerships and leading change and transformation
- Experience leading teams through change, with sound judgement, resilience and adaptability
- Strong financial management, governance and risk capability
- Commitment to participant-centred practice, inclusion, cultural safety and lived experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Right to work in Australia
- 100 points of ID
- Valid Driver Licence
- Satisfactory National Police Record Check
- International Police Check, if applicable
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – Quality Safety and You
- LCS2 Outcome, supplied by Wellways
