About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support individuals to achieve personal goals by delivering services under their NDIS plans
- Provide assistance with daily living, transport, community and social participation, and everyday life skills
- Support participants with outdoor activities and personal care
- Help participants access education, work, or health services
- Drive to various locations across East Gippsland to deliver support services
- Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Apply empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude when supporting participants
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certificate 3 or 4 in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care (desirable)
- Right to Work in Australia
- Current valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake travel for work
- Current Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Physically capable to deliver personal care to participants
- Compassionate, reliable, and resilient approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy, professionalism, and positive attitude
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Proactive approach, initiative, and ability to follow direction
