Translate patent-related content from English into Spanish (LatAm), conveying the original meaning in a readable and understandable manner
Follow instructions, including translation processes and CAT tool usage
Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English
Translate and proofread patents in Electricity, Computer Science, and Chemistry
Support an expected weighted volume of 2,000–5,000 words per week

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields
Native-level fluency in Spanish
Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience
Ability to translate, copy edit, and perform MTPE
Immediate availability for patent translation projects
Strong experience translating and proofreading patents, specifically in Electricity, Computer Science, and Chemistry
Experience using the XTM CAT tool
Ability to communicate effectively and respond promptly in English
