About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the language quality owner and primary client-facing linguistic expert for a leading global technology client.
  • Own the locale’s interpretation of the client’s quality standards and align the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers on quality expectations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client’s Language Manager on quality discussions, arbitration, and escalations.
  • Drive consistency, quality governance, and continuous improvement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
  • Review style guide and glossary updates, assess affected quality categories and content types, and record changes.
  • Track client Language Manager corrections and feedback from calibration and quality calls.
  • Run alignment roundtables and publish a structured monthly quality digest.
  • Coach Reviewers one-to-one, run shadowing sessions, and deliver training based on alignment data.
  • Develop style guide proposals from recurring justification patterns and share cross-locale patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
  • Own the locale’s review service score, RQE audit and alignment performance, arbitration record integrity, and client working relationship.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
  • Direct experience as the primary point of contact for client Language Managers, managing formal arbitration or escalation processes, and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Deep, practical experience with localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
  • Ability to analyse style guide changes, identify implicit client expectations, and map tolerance by content type.
  • Hands-on experience with one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting.
  • Skill in tracking error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores, and in converting justification patterns into style guide improvements.
  • Native-level Uzbek (Cyrillic) and professional-level English.
  • A background check is required as part of onboarding.
  • Candidates must be physically located in one of the approved countries.
