Key responsibilities & impact

Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English to Spanish LatAm
Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on machine-translated safety content
Copy edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
Meet strict, non-extendable turnaround times on time-sensitive content
Work within the client's CAT tool environment using XTM/Phrase
Use Track Changes in Microsoft Word according to project-specific setup instructions
Translate clinical research documents including protocols, synopses, IB, ICF, Patient Sheets, and Patient Diaries
Translate regulatory documents including SmPC, PIL, Labels, and CTD Modules
Translate pharmacovigilance documents including PSUR, DSUR, RMP, SAE, and AE

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced English into Spanish (Mexico) linguist specializing in clinical-trial, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory document translation
Applicant must meet at least one of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent); a recognized graduate qualification in another field plus at least two years of full-time professional translation experience; or at least five years of full-time professional translation experience
At least two years of practical translation experience specifically with life sciences (clinical trials and pharmacovigilance) and medical documents
Familiarity with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase)
Familiarity with Track Changes in Microsoft Word
Must be based in United States, Mexico, or Puerto Rico
Willingness to complete an assessment as part of onboarding and quality procedures
Latest English CV must accurately reflect Life Sciences and Medical translation experience, years of relevant experience, translated document types, CAT tools used, and contact information including email and phone number
