About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Audit a sample of linguist submissions to verify that the original validate/correct decision was accurate
- Confirm that IPA transcriptions correctly reflect the pronunciation heard in the audio
- Identify errors or inconsistencies in the original review
- Provide corrections where applicable
- Work within the client-owned platform environment
- Review submissions containing short audio recordings, standard orthographic transcriptions, and AI-generated IPA transcriptions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native or near-native fluency in the target locale
- Strong knowledge of IPA phonetic transcription and phonetics
- Prior experience with CAT tools or similar client-owned platforms
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently against quality benchmarks
- Ability to meet agreed turnaround times and project quality standards
- Availability for approximately 20 hours between project kickoff and mid-October 2026
