About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform translations using one or more translation tools for assigned clients and projects
  • Translate marketing, help, UI, and regulated content
  • Support copy-editing tasks for selected content types
  • Master standard CAT tools and other translation-related tools
  • Follow established translation processes, including raising queries when needed
  • Follow style guides and client requirements
  • Improve based on corrections from senior team members and client reviewers
  • Track personal error statistics and address weak areas
  • Participate in internal and client-organized training
  • Participate in the error arbitration process
  • Meet productivity, on-time delivery, and quality KPIs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Translation/Applied Languages/Linguistic Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • University degree in another field plus 2 years of full-time translation experience, or 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
  • Native fluency in the target language
  • Fluent written and spoken English across a wide range of registers
  • 0–2 years of experience in translation or creating easy-to-read texts
  • Passion for language and technology
  • Ability to work within a virtual team
