About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically analyse the non-tissue paper and board market
  • Identify attractive applications, market segments and potential customers for target products
  • Develop new business opportunities and build a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Establish, maintain and expand customer relationships across the paper and packaging industry
  • Translate business strategy into scalable and commercially successful customer partnerships
  • Understand customers’ applications, processes and requirements and translate insights into the WEPA organisation
  • Contribute to developing pricing strategies and support their implementation in the market
  • Help build and structure the Fibre Materials business area in support of WEPA Group strategic targets and transformation ambitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Business Administration, Sales, Business Development or a comparable field
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in packaging, speciality paper, moulded fibre or a comparable industrial B2B market
  • Sound understanding of the paper and packaging industry
  • Established network within relevant market segments
  • Experience in indirect sales and developing long-term B2B customer relationships
  • Experience identifying new market opportunities and translating them into commercially viable and scalable business models
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a hands-on approach
  • Confident communication in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
