About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Govern day-to-day execution of Lending Administration workflow
  • Ensure outputs meet policy, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Provide formal review and approval where required
  • Ensure timely issue escalation and resolution
  • Oversee reporting and analytics for workflow performance, including capacity, service levels, exceptions, and quality
  • Use workflow insights to manage priorities, improve throughput, and drive consistent execution across the program and/or team
  • Lead process controls and governance expectations, including documentation standards, evidence retention, and SOX/control testing support
  • Coordinate responses to audit and control inquiries for the team’s scope
  • Partner with Lending, Credit, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to resolve systemic issues
  • Implement procedural and tooling changes, drive adoption of process improvements, and ensure team training and adherence
  • Lead and develop a dedicated program and/or framework when needed
  • Serve as a senior lead supporting the Lending Administration Department
  • Review analysts’ work and lead defined workstreams and initiatives at the direction of senior leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of related experience in Credit Administration or similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit-related discipline with experience with a variety of lending products and segments
  • Ability to problem-solve independently, adapt to changing priorities, act with urgency, and deliver across projects
  • Analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
