About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Aid the successful execution of critical enterprise projects to realize enterprise goals and objectives
- Work with business sponsors, business leads, and IT project managers to develop detailed project plans and related documents
- Plan and monitor projects throughout their life cycles
- Help determine and document project scope
- Create work schedules and monitor and update project budgets
- Evaluate resource capacity
- Coordinate project team tasks and track completion of scheduled tasks and activities to prevent delays
- Collaborate with project team members to build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and tasks
- Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed on time
- Review project timelines and recommend adjustments to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, artifact documents, status reports, and budgets
- Generate regular project status reports for project sponsors and team members
- Document, summarize, and distribute meeting notes
- Track resource allocations, availability, over-allocation, and assignment trends; report findings to leadership
- Monitor, document, and track issues and risk mitigation activities against target completion dates
- Work with business leads and IT resources to confirm invoice payment requests reflect proper billing amounts for completed work
- Build working knowledge of commercial banking to support and execute project management initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate experience in building project schedules and collaborating with cross functional teams
- Intermediate organizational and multitasking skills
- Intermediate ability to be flexible with adapting requested changes to project scope and schedule
- Intermediate experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Intermediate skills in project management software and tools (Workfront)
- Intermediate knowledge of project management and IT software development methodologies (Waterfall/SDLC) preferred
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
- Project Management Professional preferred
