About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure exceptional support and service delivery to a portfolio of key clients
  • Oversee support and service activities across client accounts
  • Drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, strategic alignment, retention, renewals, and growth
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for clients and build trusted partnerships
  • Understand client businesses and product implementations and proactively solve problems
  • Lead administrative services delivery for large and complex client accounts
  • Communicate with clients about issues, system functionality, best practices, industry standards, legislative changes, and service delivery
  • Track and communicate account work and issue status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Document tasks and maintain updates in the internal task management tool
  • Facilitate issue reviews, identify solutions, resolve problems, and deliver client results across internal teams
  • Use root cause analysis tools for escalated issues and share findings with leadership and peers
  • Draft, maintain, and communicate work orders; estimate effort and document scope, assumptions, and fees
  • Review monthly invoices for accuracy, including fee schedules, out-of-scope items, and revenue recognition
  • Coordinate with the call center to maintain accurate tools and deliver training ahead of service changes
  • Review and respond to call center escalations and member-level cases
  • Analyze client benefit-administration materials for currency and quality
  • Lead internal requirements documentation and ensure benefit materials meet client specifications
  • Lead annual enrollment processes, plan design changes, project milestones, risk mitigation, test plans, and related tasks
  • Lead testing workflows for clients and internal teams
  • Identify training opportunities and process improvements
  • Perform additional client-support duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in the healthcare industry, including Benefits Administration
  • Bachelor's degree or related field
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Strong subject-specific skills, decision-making, critical-thinking
  • Strong organizational skills, effective team collaboration, persuasive communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and business audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply understand client business needs and translate them into strategic service plans
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on root cause resolution and process improvement
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to drive results and maintain seamless client delivery
  • Highly accountable and proactive; takes initiative and follows through
  • Complete knowledge and full understanding of Health & Welfare administration principles and practices
