About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Investigate data lineage across billing platforms, transactional processors, legacy portals, and operational services
  • Identify source systems for customer, account, and relationship attributes
  • Partner with product managers, business analysts, and functional leads to define Salesforce customer identity requirements
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, detect schema drift, address duplicate records, and define source-to-destination mapping rules
  • Assist in designing scalable, modular data extraction, transformation, and ingestion workflows
  • Write optimized SQL transformations, views, and data processing routines in Snowflake
  • Map staged Snowflake data into standard and custom Salesforce objects
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and architectural design reviews
  • Document data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, integration flows, and automated validation tests
  • Leverage AI-assisted developer workflows and automation tooling for querying, schema mapping, and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid academic or project experience writing SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and window functions
  • Understanding of relational database principles, including foreign keys, indexing, and entity relationships
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Java
  • Standard version control workflows using Git/GitHub
  • Demonstrable aptitude and enthusiasm to learn Snowflake and Salesforce
  • Ability to translate complex data structures into plain language when interviewing stakeholders and gathering requirements
  • Curiosity and tenacity for investigating complex systems and data flows
  • Interest in building reusable tools, scripts, and data models
