About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of fashion taxonomy specialists
- Work with the Digital Assets / Image Management team to perform quality control on all images in the proprietary DAM application
- Assign keywords, crop, and color-tag a high volume of images in accordance with company standards
- Closely monitor schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Provide proactive feedback to freelancers and other team members
- Master WGSN taxonomy and regularly check for potential errors or issues
- Enhance and expand WGSN Instock, Trend Curve, and other data products
- Communicate with other departments, managers, and external technology partners
- Perform other related activities as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English
- Degree or equivalent experience in fashion, design, textiles, interior design, or related fields
- Strong knowledge and understanding of fashion terminology
- Basic knowledge and understanding of interior design and textile terminology
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with concise and grammatically correct writing
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and present original ideas
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Ability to follow instructions, give and receive feedback, and collaborate with colleagues and managers
- Knowledge of Mac applications, Lightroom, and/or photo-editing skills is a plus but not required
