About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for internal customers
- Ensure technology solutions align with business needs and strategic goals
- Research, design, document, test, and leverage business solutions
- Assist in defining and planning departmental project roadmaps
- Partner with clients and manage prioritization and delivery of IT services for an application module or subject area
- Define, gather, and document business processes and needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications
- Perform business systems and process analysis of existing and future systems/processes
- Conduct interviews and requirements-gathering workshops and ensure sign-off of artifacts
- Coordinate requirements for new and existing applications
- Assist with testing, training plan development, user training, user support, and user documentation
- Participate in QA, identify test cases, explain complex processes, and aid in developing test plans
- Analyze current and emerging technology/application functionality and business needs
- Develop business cases, ROI calculations, value definitions, cost assessments, benefits, and risk analyses
- Manage project scope, timelines, tasks, and lifecycle phases from conception to implementation
- May act as Project Manager on approved projects and implement solutions per IT tollgate processes
- Coordinate client relationships and prioritize IT service delivery
- Conduct root cause analysis for defect resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Oversee project and assignment completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating work
- Convert Rental data from acquired legacy companies into RentalMan
- Manage multiple conversion projects concurrently
- Maintain process documents, project plans, and data flows
- Ensure data templates are accurate and complete
- Coordinate and conduct Mock Conversion and Go Live tasks
- Ensure RentalMan test environments are configured for testing
- Review, cleanse, test, load, validate, and document conversion results
- Manage the To Live conversion timeline
- Communicate risks and issues and support hyper care activities
- Outline data upload hierarchy and sequence for RentalMan
- Identify RentalMan integration gaps and coordinate resolution
- Review acquisition company data for successful conversion to RentalMan
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certification is required in some areas
- Functional experience leading software data conversions - REQUIRED
- Experience with RentalMan data - PREFERRED
- Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area will be asked to work two days a week in the Doraville, GA Field Support Center
