About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the intake, prioritisation, scheduling, and allocation of work across multiple campaign and project types
  • Monitor team capacity and workload to ensure resources are effectively utilised and deadlines are met
  • Maintain visibility of project timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery status across the portfolio
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, delivery challenges, and resource constraints, escalating issues when required
  • Track campaign performance against agreed KPIs and support contingency planning when projects fall behind expectations
  • Develop and continuously improve traffic management processes, reporting, forecasting, and resource-planning practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and operational excellence
  • Provide leadership with clear insights into team capacity, project priorities, and delivery risks
  • Report to the Senior Director, Delivery
  • Partner with Delivery, Marketing, Advertising Operations, project managers, and external suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a Traffic Manager, Resource Manager, Project Coordinator, or Workflow Management role
  • Proven ability to manage workloads, resources, and competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and driving issues through to resolution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders
  • Experience using project, traffic, or resource-management platforms such as Asana, Workfront, Monday.com, or similar tools
  • Experience within an agency, publishing, media, or marketing services environment preferred
  • Knowledge of advertising operations, events, society partnerships, scientific content, or medical education delivery preferred
  • Experience designing or improving traffic management, intake, resource planning, or workflow processes preferred
  • Understanding of campaign performance metrics and operational contingency planning preferred
  • Experience supporting teams through process improvement and workflow optimisation initiatives preferred
