About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write and maintain SQL in BigQuery, extracting and reconciling data across campaign and CRM sources
  • Perform schema checks, sanity checks, and data-quality validation
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with cited sources, methodology, limitations, and business-framed headlines
  • Investigate discrepancies to identify root causes, including join mismatches, ID-format inconsistencies, and ingestion gaps
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and answer questions about analysis
  • Make reasoned routine decisions, document reasoning, and escalate genuine blockers early

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years' experience as a Data Analyst
  • Experience writing complex SQL against large, multi-table datasets
  • Investigative approach to tracing discrepancies through joins and data sources
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Power BI or a similar visualisation tool
  • Experience with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus
  • Genuine interest in academic publishing and marketing measurement is an advantage
  • Resume/CV required when applying
