About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a named Intelligence Community account set across the full sales lifecycle
  • Map accounts, discover mission sets, develop champions, validate technical requirements, shape procurement strategy, secure awards, and expand accounts
  • Sell to SES/SIS civilians, flag and general officers, directorate and mission-center chiefs, CTOs, CDOs, and program executives
  • Translate workflow gaps among targeters, all-source analysts, collection managers, and program managers into deployed capabilities
  • Architect procurement pathways involving IDIQs, OTAs, GSA, SBIR/CSO on-ramps, sole-source justifications, contractors, and systems integrators
  • Identify, vet, and manage primes, systems integrators, and cleared resellers
  • Apply MEDDPICC-disciplined qualification and maintain forecast integrity
  • Surface customer requirements to influence the product roadmap
  • Build new mission centers, directorates, and programs of record from an established Intelligence Community foothold
  • Travel approximately 30%, primarily to the National Capital Region, COCOM headquarters, and customer sites
  • Report to the VP, Federal Sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required
  • CI or FS poly strongly preferred
  • 5+ years selling software or analytics into the Intelligence Community
  • Closed deals that can be discussed at an unclassified level
  • Full-cycle federal sales experience, including navigating the contracting shop
  • Command of federal procurement mechanics, including contract vehicles, color of money, POM cycles, ATO and accreditation timelines
  • Experience selling at the executive level to SES, flag officers, or mission-center directors
  • Technical knowledge of data fusion, model outputs, false positives, and integration architecture
  • Track record of expanding an account from a single foothold into multi-directorate adoption
  • Prior maritime, targeting, MASINT/GEOINT, or all-source experience, or experience as a government customer of commercial analytics preferred
  • Knowledge of FOCI and supply-chain provenance advantageous
  • Fluency with MEDDPICC or equivalent qualification discipline
  • Comfort working in an early-stage U.S. federal business organization
  • Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and access SCIF facilities
