About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the end-to-end client engagement process at Wing Assistant
- Understand potential customer input through intake forms and use organization-wide ATS systems to find matching candidates
- Interview candidates to ensure fit with potential client needs
- Run full discovery calls, qualify client needs, present Wing's value, and bring live vetted candidates into calls
- Close deals while client interest is highest; propose next steps before the call ends
- Formalize deals in Discord/JRF within 30–60 minutes
- Keep the idle candidate pool current and taggable by role, industry, and availability
- Pull 2–3 credible candidate matches from a loose brief with 10–30 minutes' notice
- Confirm candidate availability at T-24h and T-30min and identify backups
- Finalize compliance and formal matching after closing
- Keep CSM/TA aligned on onboarding status in real time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Has personally run outbound/discovery through to close — not just handed off qualified leads
- Recruiting or sourcing experience with genuine same-day turnaround, not multiday pipelines
- Comfortable improvising live — can steer a call and brief a candidate in 10–15 minutes on the spot
- Fast and responsive by nature — minutes, not hours, is this role's working speed
- Staffing, recruiting, or B2B services sales background
- Already comfortable working async-first in Discord/Slack as the source of truth
- History of maintaining a “warm bench” of backup candidates proactively
- Track record of anticipating problems (candidate no-shows, client cold feet) before they happen
