About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, install, and administer client/server infrastructure
Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, and file services
Ensure stable and secure IT operations through maintenance, updates, patches, and documentation
Monitor systems and services for proactive error detection and performance optimization
Troubleshoot and analyze issues in the server/infrastructure environment
Contribute to IT projects in the server/infrastructure area

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed vocational training, degree, or equivalent professional experience in IT
In-depth knowledge of administering and managing Windows Server systems
Good knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory
Knowledge of server virtualization based on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
Experience managing MS SQL Server and databases
Experience with network technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN) is an advantage
Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 is an advantage
Linux knowledge is an advantage
Experience with Microsoft license management is an advantage
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Sense of responsibility and strong interpersonal skills
High level of service orientation and problem-solving ability
Good written and spoken German is required
