About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end commercial relationship and growth strategy for named top global accounts
- Build and maintain account plans covering expansion roadmaps, whitespace analysis and renewal risk
- Act as the single accountable owner for each named account
- Work with regional Managing Directors on relationships and negotiations for multi-region accounts
- Own the group retention standard, including account health measurement and escalation
- Own customer-lifecycle ownership mapping and contract and renewal visibility
- Establish renewal pricing guardrails with Finance
- Define account-transfer criteria and assess accounts against those criteria
- Recommend against transfers when evidence is insufficient, with remediation plans and dates
- Identify and execute expansion across new sites, markets and product lines
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals for named accounts
- Partner with regional Managing Directors and Customer Success on delivery and account health
- Build senior and C-suite relationships
- Serve as primary escalation point for named accounts
- Lead or coordinate executive business reviews
- Own consolidated reporting on revenue, net revenue retention, expansion and churn risk
- Feed named-account forecasts into group forecasting
- Coordinate product-roadmap input and account-based marketing with Product and Growth Marketing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Able to present and negotiate at senior level in Spanish and English
- Significant, proven experience in global or strategic key account management
- Ideally experience in B2B SaaS or a tech-enabled business selling to multi-site enterprise customers
- Proven track record managing a portfolio of large, complex accounts across multiple countries
- Measurable results in retention, renewals and expansion
- Experience building and delivering strategic account plans, including expansion roadmaps, stakeholder mapping and renewal risk
- Experience designing or running retention processes, such as churn signals, account health scoring, renewal pipelines or contract management
- Results-driven with ownership of delivered work
- Confident, articulate communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships from CEO to analyst level
- Persuasive and able to gain agreement on plans
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Ability to build clear business cases, identify data inaccuracies and make sound decisions
- Calm and measured approach with demanding customers
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
- Comfortable with regular international travel
