About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary technical bridge between Wiz’s product innovation and the specialized requirements of U.S. Public Sector customers
  • Translate complex regulatory compliance rules into actionable product requirements
  • Represent Wiz’s FedRAMP and DoD IL4/5 offerings
  • Learn and know Wiz as well as a customer
  • Act as subject matter expert for Wiz’s government offerings and translate product value to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Support navigation of complex FedRAMP and DoD IL4/5 processes and industry changes
  • Engage federal customers, agencies, and mission owners to capture requirements and manage expectations
  • Lead prioritization and design of features for U.S. Public Sector compliance and security
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing Management to maintain and communicate the Wiz4Gov roadmap
  • Develop a translation layer connecting external compliance rules to internal product specifications
  • Interface with PubSec Compliance, US DevOps, PMM, and GTM teams to drive commitments and support System Change Request scoping
  • Maintain end-to-end visibility of the feature pipeline and ensure features are authorized before enablement
  • Assist with government-specific SKUs, license updates, and periodic FedRAMP listing reviews
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams
  • Serve as point of contact for roadmap updates and feature deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience working in Cloud (AWS preferred; other clouds a plus)
  • Experience using cloud-native services and cloud security best practices
  • Proficiency with micro-services, containers, Kubernetes, IaC (e.g., Terraform), Configuration Management, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deep knowledge of evaluating controls against NIST 800-53, DoD CC SRG, DISA STIGs, FIPS, and encryption methodologies
  • Ability to translate federal compliance requirements into technical solutions and outcomes for customers
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or higher security clearance (active clearance strongly preferred)
  • Must meet EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person
  • Must reside in the contiguous United States
  • Legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship
