About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and develop efficient and effective collection strategies
  • Maximize cash recovery and make decisions regarding collection escalations, service release or suspension, adjustments, and write-offs
  • Negotiate with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions in difficult situations
  • Develop relationships with customers' accounts payable departments and senior finance leaders
  • Partner with Sales, Client Launch, and Billing on the order-to-cash process
  • Coordinate work activities with an offshore team, including guiding, mentoring, and coordinating strategy
  • Leverage Agile methodologies to improve processes
  • Support an environment of constant innovation
  • Provide training to assigned offshore support personnel
  • Drive financial results, improve customer service levels, maximize revenue, improve cash flow, and minimize bad debt write-offs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 2 years of experience in reconciliation
  • Oracle system knowledge & experience (preferred)
  • B2B credit & collection experience (preferred)
  • Ability and experience in business negotiation (preferred)
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for air travel or federal property access
