About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Asset Manager with day-to-day operations and cross-functional tasks
  • Create purchase orders for stock moves, purchases, freight, and installations
  • Conduct inventory validations and reconcile inventory reports
  • Update fixed asset cards in Navision
  • Support the warranty program by tracking claims, follow-up, and associated or avoided costs
  • Coordinate high-visibility installations and expedite deliverables
  • Generate equipment performance and inventory-level reports
  • Develop and implement vendor process improvements with operating areas
  • Resolve vendor-order issues with internal partners
  • Monitor the fixed assets system, input data, verify accuracy, and maintain records
  • Interpret site surveys to verify customer needs and identify usable assets
  • Schedule required resources and gather pricing
  • Ensure assets return to inventory for redeployment
  • Train others on fixed asset tracking and identification
  • Assist departments with fixed asset identification, servicing, and information annotation
  • Submit process improvement ideas
  • Promote product knowledge and provide technical-growth resources related to compaction equipment
  • Complete additional projects supporting business and individual development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study (accredited), or, in lieu of degree, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 2 years of relevant experience in addition to the education requirement
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment
  • Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required to travel by air or access federal property
