About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the daily operations of the remote data specialist team
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of daily operational data within the Capitol Market Area
  • Establish and maintain oversight of a remote team of data specialists
  • Collaborate with the Operations Improvement Manager and Operations Analyst on data outputs
  • Validate daily data using critical reports
  • Manage cross-functional communication with Operational Leaders for Area-level data oversight and management
  • Serve as boundary partner for Operational initiatives
  • Use Waste Management systems to record metrics and verify process improvement opportunities
  • Manage performance and continued skill development of the Data Specialist Team
  • Oversee 11 employees and data management for 32 sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree (accredited), or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in addition to the education requirement
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment
  • Experience or ability to use EMAP, MAS, OPUS, Kronos, SharePoint, PMT, CorpDb, Essbase, Newton, Power BI, Microsoft Suite, Capacity Planner, and other Waste Management systems
  • REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative, or willingness to obtain one, may be required for air travel or federal property access
