About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and enable delivery of CLC projects and enhancements involving JD Edwards and associated applications
  • Define business initiatives and document requirements
  • Translate requirements into actionable and prioritized work items for development teams
  • Serve as the primary business point of contact for JD Edwards project-related activities
  • Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, technology resources, and the JD Edwards Platform Owner
  • Provide oversight and business leadership for project-related activities
  • Represent the JD Edwards platform during Project Exploration
  • Own and manage the backlog for JDE-related projects
  • Establish backlog priorities based on business value, organizational priorities, resource capacity, risk, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, engineering teams, and QA resources to prepare backlog items for development
  • Lead release planning and prioritization decisions
  • Provide requirements clarification and business direction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate business decision-making on competing priorities, scope questions, and requirement ambiguities
  • Coordinate with Production Support on release planning and integration of enhancements
  • Monitor progress against implementation dates and address risks, dependencies, and barriers
  • Support user acceptance testing, business readiness, and implementation planning
  • Analyze post-release feedback, usage patterns, defect trends, and business needs into prioritized backlog items
  • Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders on post-release product decisions
  • Improve processes for project intake, triage, prioritization, release planning, project health reviews, and transition to steady-state support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in Business Analysis, Application Business Owner, or related roles
  • Experience working with or managing users of the JD Edwards Enterprise One
  • Experience coordinating across business, technology, QA, and operational stakeholders
  • Understanding of JD Edwards functional areas, including Order Entry, Product Catalog, Invoicing, and Cash Application
  • Strong backlog management and prioritization skills
  • Release planning skills
  • Decision-making capability
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and drive alignment across business and technical teams without direct authority
  • Strong judgment in balancing user feedback, business value, and technical feasibility
