About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of finance managers and financial planning professionals
  • Own and drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions
  • Analyze financial data, market trends, and business performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, financial reports, and business performance updates
  • Develop and implement financial strategies supporting short-term and long-term objectives
  • Lead financial modelling activities for business scenarios, investments, and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
  • Monitor performance across business functions and recommend improvements to profitability and operational effectiveness
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic business initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or strategic finance leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading managers and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic business decisions
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Experience operating within a complex, multinational organization is preferred
  • Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent) is advantageous
  • Participation in interviews without AI tools or external prompts
  • Ability to participate in in-person interviews and appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office if required
