About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze business requirements in the area of payroll and translate them into clear, actionable concepts for software development
  • Contribute to the design, specification, and testing of new features
  • Review development deliverables for functional accuracy
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for developers
  • Clarify questions and help drive implementation forward
  • Monitor legislative changes and incorporate them into the software promptly and accurately
  • Collaborate with connected systems and integration partners in the areas of HR, HCM, and time tracking
  • Use modern AI tools to increase efficiency in analysis and specification

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-depth knowledge of and several years of practical experience in payroll processing
  • Technical aptitude and enthusiasm for working with software
  • Ability to formulate requirements clearly and in an actionable way for development teams
  • Structured and analytical approach to work
  • Confident communication with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience with HCM software, employee master data, time management systems, or digital personnel files is an advantage
  • Knowledge of using AI tools in software development is a plus
  • Very good German language skills (C2)
  • Good English language skills (at least B2)
