About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and lead sales and implementation activities for external customers and internal teams.
  • Help customers adopt and optimize Simplifi+ solutions to improve the safety and quality of compounded pharmacy products in accordance with relevant USP chapters and best practices.
  • Support sales and customer success teams as a subject-matter expert by demonstrating product functionality, benefits, and workflow integration.
  • Facilitate customer adoption and usage of pharmacy compliance solutions, including workflow and practice model adjustments.
  • Advise on implementation of policies and procedures based on evidence, guidelines, regulations, and professional practices.
  • Create and update clinical and operational content in solutions.
  • Build professional relationships with pharmacy customers during and after implementations.
  • Contribute pharmacy-practice thought leadership through webinars, blogs, professional meeting presentations, and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with product development on feature enhancements, user acceptability testing, customer-facing pilots, testing, and market research.
  • Develop training materials in various formats.
  • Manage sensitive PHI in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT); currently registered or certified to practice as a pharmacy technician within the United States, if required by state or local regulations.
  • Successful completion from a pharmacy technician training program or an equivalent associate degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a hospital or health-system pharmacy or an infusion pharmacy.
  • Experience preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications in accordance with the latest relevant USP chapters.
  • Experience preparing medications for pharmacist verification and distributing medications according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Experience stocking, inventorying, and maintaining automated dispensing cabinets, medication trays/kits, and emergency/specialty carts.
  • Experience maintaining documents, records, and other collaterals to demonstrate compliance to quality management standards.
  • Experience preparing for Joint Commission or DNV surveys, Department of Health, Board of Pharmacy, and other applicable regulatory agency inspections.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement plans based on RFIs or other relevant regulatory findings.
  • Experience working with pharmacy compounding or IV workflow software preferred.
  • Certification in Compounded Sterile Preparation (CSPT) preferred.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining organized documentation and project materials.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Willingness to work within a team setting supporting various projects.
  • Approximately 40% travel required.
