About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the deployment, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System across Fuel Systems & Controls operations
Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements
Drive product quality, process capability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Customer Quality teams
Improve First Pass Yield (FPY)
Reduce nonconformances
Strengthen root cause corrective action effectiveness
Ensure compliance with AS9100, AS9110, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Oversee and direct quality assurance teams to achieve established quality objectives
Develop and enforce quality standards and procedures across operational processes
Perform regular performance appraisals, provide feedback, and facilitate training and development
Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical and operational quality problems
Create and implement strategies to enhance quality control processes and promote continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certified Technician/ Bachelor
Experience and knowledge sufficient to lead Quality Management System deployment, maintenance, and continual improvement
Knowledge of AS9100, AS9110, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
Ability to manage and motivate quality teams
Ability to develop and enforce quality standards and procedures
Ability to conduct performance appraisals and facilitate training and development
Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate technical and operational quality problems
Ability to develop departmental plans and address resource and operational challenges
Ability to provide specialized technical guidance
Ability to make informed decisions based on policies, procedures, and departmental plans
U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or Department of Commerce
