About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations
  • Use Workday integration tools to connect Workday with internal systems and external partners
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, Security, and vendor teams to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions
  • Document integration requirements, data mappings, transformation logic, schedules, dependencies, and support procedures
  • Monitor production integrations, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and reduce disruption
  • Support unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
  • Maintain integration documentation, runbooks, change records, and audit evidence
  • Evaluate Workday releases, configuration changes, and business process updates for integration impacts
  • Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve reliability, strengthen data quality, and support company growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Workday Integration certification or Workday Pro Integration certification
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with middleware or integration platforms such as Oxygen Editor, Postman, MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, identity management, and vendor integration processes
  • Familiarity with IT service management, incident management, change management, and release management practices
  • Working knowledge of Workday integration tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and Report-as-a-Service
  • Understanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST APIs, web services, SFTP, file-based integrations, and data transformation concepts
  • Ability to gather requirements, document technical designs, and manage integration details with accuracy and accountability
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate in a team environment while managing priorities and meeting commitments
  • U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR, or eligible to obtain required authorizations
