About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design end-to-end AI application architectures using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure AI Foundry
- Architect secure enterprise applications incorporating LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and workflow orchestration
- Design backend and full-stack solutions leveraging Python, C#, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel
- Define cloud-native deployment architectures utilizing containers, microservices, REST APIs, and automated CI/CD pipelines
- Apply security-by-design principles, identity and access management, and secure networking practices to safeguard enterprise workloads
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs to optimize cloud infrastructure, AI inference workloads, application performance, and operational costs
- Establish architectural standards, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams through technical decisions
- Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders in an international remote environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong software engineering background with proven experience building full-stack and backend systems in C#, Python, and React with TypeScript
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure Networking, and Azure AI Foundry
- Practical experience working with AI application frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or comparable tools
- Solid architectural understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agent design, and workflow orchestration
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architectures, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance distributed systems
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making skills
- Fluent English is mandatory (C1 level), with the ability to lead technical discussions, collaborate with international stakeholders, and produce clear architectural documentation
- Must be based in Latin America
