  • Design and implement distributed backend systems in Go with attention to performance and memory behavior
  • Work on runtime-level components under high concurrency and throughput
  • Apply Go internals knowledge, including scheduler, memory model, and garbage collection, to improve efficiency
  • Design and optimize concurrent workflows using goroutines, channels, synchronization primitives, and context propagation
  • Optimize slices, memory allocations, and data structures for performance-critical paths
  • Improve execution of custom third-party code through isolation, performance, and feature extensions
  • Modernize runtime components for modularity, structured architecture, and observability
  • Improve trigger configuration and execution across webhooks and polling mechanisms
  • Integrate and optimize Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse
  • Identify bottlenecks, race conditions, deadlocks, and performance degradation in distributed systems
  • Own initiatives end-to-end from design through rollout and production support
  • Conduct code reviews focused on correctness, concurrency safety, and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
  • Strong understanding of databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, and monitoring
  • Good understanding of network protocols and stacks
  • Good understanding of classic databases and modern NoSQL technologies
  • Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
