Workato

Full-stack Engineer

• Develop and maintain core components of Workato’s Recipe runtime, including recipe execution, DSL, event pulling, webhook processing, and job execution
• Design and implement distributed backend systems in Go
• Work on runtime-level components under high concurrency and throughput
• Apply Go internals knowledge to improve system efficiency
• Design and optimize concurrent workflows using goroutines, channels, synchronization primitives, and context propagation
• Optimize slices, memory allocations, and data structures for performance-critical paths
• Improve execution engine support for custom third-party code, including isolation, performance, and feature extensions
• Modernize runtime components for modularity, structured architecture, and observability
• Improve trigger configuration and execution across webhooks and polling mechanisms
• Integrate and optimize Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse
• Identify bottlenecks, race conditions, deadlocks, and performance degradation
