About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ship the first production agents with Product Managers, starting with brief creation and Product Manager-to-design handoff, then extend across the product lifecycle
Shape shared architecture and standards for orchestration, skills, memory, evals, and guardrails across both product lines
Own production quality, including observability, testing, security, and cost, with human approval at every gate
Co-design with Product Managers, reuse existing automation, and ship small iterations for testing and adoption
Measure time saved, time from customer signal to shipped decision, and cost per agent and feature
Share agent development practices so the team can build, run, and improve agents independently
Collaborate daily with Product Ops, the AI-Software Development Life Cycle team, Product Managers, and the Senior AI Developer on the Data team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong production engineering across the agent development lifecycle
Hands-on experience designing and shipping multi-agent systems to production, including orchestration, tools, context, and memory
Experience integrating multi-agent systems with tools like Slack, Atlassian, and MCP
Experience instrumenting and evaluating non-deterministic systems, including evals, observability, regression testing, and cost tracking
Architectural judgment across reliability, security, and cost
Ability to determine which model fits which job and defend a technical opinion
Experience building components or tooling that other people adopt
Understanding of Product Manager workflows and user-centered product development
Experience using AI-assisted development tools daily and critically
Bonus: product management experience, or experience on a B2B SaaS, HR, or IT product
